Copy of SANS-10142

I am an electrical engineer (PrEng), but left the electrical industry 10 years ago to work in IT.

Now I am renovating my house, and want to check that the electrical installation complies to the code. However my old SABS 0142 is way out of date.

Feels a bit of a waste to buy the latest version to use just once...
Does anybody have an electronic copy (PDF) of the current SANS 10142-1 that they are willing to share?

If not, I guess I will have to head over to the SABS site with my credit card...

There are pdf copies up for grabs around on the net if you know where to look. If you have a legit copy of the SANS 0142-1 then you should qualify for free updates of the subsequent amendments.

Pdf copies are the way to go because you can keep a back-up of the original and because the search tools make life much easier.

My old copy is licensed to the consulting firm where I used to work.
Google helped me to figured out where to look though...

Now I have some reading to do to; I might be back with questions in another thread...
