    Energy in South Africa

When you start reading the writing on the wall and articles keep popping up in your news feed talking about SA being a huge problem with coal power stations and pollution.

Then you try purchase a 5 kva/kwh system, out of stock.

Makes you wonder about what is really going on.

At the rate load shedding is destroying lead acid batteries, I would be more concerned about the battery acid being disposed down the drains as people unload them.

Huge tenders in the pipeline, massive debt maybe?

It seems the people have gone solar crazy, the smart people have bought up all the stock and increase the prices. So you can get stock if you are prepared to pay the additional cost.

The big question is the price of components going to drop as the demand increases or are companies going to take advantage of the demand ?

Lets everyone doesnt figue out the demand and increase import duties and taxes, like the fuel price.
