Hi HR Solutions, I see you are looking for yourself.
The person I hired and paid a lot of money to an agent is jumping ship after only 6m. So I want to try finding replacement myself this time as I cannot afford such an expense again.
I get some results from a couple of websites, but Gumtree is disappointing.
Any tips for good websites which are free or do not charge a fortune for a once off simple listing without bells and whistles?
This is Cape Town only and I need people who are established here already (Southern Subs). So no need to go nationwide.

To answer your question about websites. We have access to a number of websites which costs a fortune every month e.g. PNet, Career Junction, Placement Partner. Unfortunately there are no other sites out there that we draw candidates from, that are free. Gumtree is probably the worst site. An ad on gumtree does not work. One you can perhaps try is Indeed. You can register for free, place an ad and hope for the best.
I had a 3m guarantee and this was already a replacement. How long do you guarantee for?
Replacing is a pain either way as all training will have to be done again and again and again.
I was on Indeed, but was kicked off as I did not want my company shown to job seekers. No idea why that is an issue to them.
So far I have 5 CV's. My ad is quite detailed and restrictive which is good as I do not want to wade through loads of irrelevant CV's
