    In most cases...Over current protection is not required in domestic installations...the breaker feeding the DB would generally be a 50 or 60 amp...the cable feeding the db will be a 10 or 16 mm...which protects the cable and the tails from the earth leakage to the top of the breakers.

    Over current protection is "generally" only required in larger 3 phase DB's where there is earth leakage on each phase fed from a supply rated higher than 60 amps....in which case you would fit a 60 amp circuit breaker before the earth leakage.
