    COC CERTIFICATE INSTALLATION CLASSIFICATION- SECTION 2

    I m currently doing a COC for a guesthouse (12 rooms ).Where does the guest house fall under in terms of type of installation .Is it a commercial or domestic type ?

    I would put it as commercial as it will have multiply users vs Domestic

    With that said , are you not using outdated COC's ?

    The new COC's which came into effect 1 August 2021, Old COC's are no longer valid, and only have Permanent installation , Temporary installation , Common area for multiple users according to SANS 10142
    I see ECA coc has left out common areas

    The test report in edition 2 may be used in parallel with the test report in
    edition 3 for a period of 12 months from the date of publication of edition
    3.
